GOLD MEDAL WINNER at the 2011 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition! Medium to dark ruby in color with concentrated aromas of black plum, cassis and black cherry. Just a hint of violets and cocoa powder round out the nose. Flavors of red licorice and anise caress the silky, soft mid-palate. Medium tannins provide a nice structure to this exotic red blend.
